Welcome the summer with a day at Central Park Zoo and a ride on the Carousel. Join On Your Feet Project and the kids of Nazareth Housing for an afternoon with live seals and wooden horses. It will be the rare opportunity to share in a recreational outing for the kids and parents of Nazareth Housing inspiring hope and confidence for everyone.
Nazareth Housing is a private, non-sectarian agency that serves the needs of the multi-ethnic community in one of the poorest sections of Manhattan. They provide transitional housing to homeless families, most often to young women with children under 5 years of age. Nazareth works closely with each client to provide counseling, parenting, educational and vocational support, in addition to housing. It is their goal to enable each family to reach stability and economic independence.
